The Transcontinental Rum Line 2016 Jamaica 5 Year Old is a premium rum produced in Jamaica. It is made from a blend of pot-still and column-still rums, and is aged for five years in ex-bourbon casks. The rum has a deep golden hue and a nose of roasted banana, brown sugar, baking spices and oak. On the palate, it is smooth and mellow, with flavors of caramel, dates, toffee, and spices. The finish is long and lingering, with a hint of smokiness. This rum is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
