It was distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2002 by the independent bottler Cadenheads. The whisky has been aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels and is bottled at a strength of 54.90% ABV. The whisky has a light golden color and a nose of honey, citrus, and toasted oak. On the palate it has flavors of sweet honey, toasted grains, and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth with a lingering sweetness.
