Wood Expressions – Single Malt. Springbank is unique among Scotland’s distilleries. Every part of the process from malting to bottling is carried out at the distillery. The Whiskies in the ‘Wood Expressions’ range are free of artificial colouring and are not chill filtered. This will causer a slight natural haze to form when the whisky is cold but this will disappear when the temperature returns to normal. Only 7200 bottles have been made worldwide.

Nose: Spices, nutty, chocolatey, cranberries.

Palate: Salted butter, Christmas Pudding, Oakyness.

Finish: Truly a Springbank finish. Long and balanced.

Distillery Information

The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, who also owns the Glengyle Distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels.
