Hellyers Road 15 Year Old Slightly Peated | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Boiled orange sweets, fragrant smoke, vanilla, and black pepper.

Palate: Candied ginger, buttery oak, gentle smoke, and a touch of caramel.

Finish: Lots of sweet, oily citrus and woody vanilla.

Distillery Information

Hellyers Road began in Burnie, Tasmania. Above the town is a road that, back in the 1800s used to be bush. In 1827, Henry Hellyer carved out the bush to create a trail with nothing but the most basic tools. Fast forward to 1999, and a group of dairy farmers in Burnie were so inspired by Henry Hellyer that they created a whisky distillery in his honour.
