A limited edition single cask single malt distilled at Dalmunach. This Speysider initially matured in an American oak cask, before being finished in a ruby Port pipe. It was bottled in 2022 by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper’s Choice Winter Fruits Series, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, only 360 bottles were produced.

Nose: Red fruit notes, cranberry sauce, with warm spices, and a touch of Maltesers.

Palate: Blackberry jam, cherries, cocoa nibs, with oaky spice, and a drizzle of caramel.

Finish: Ginger and cinnamon, with some sticky dates.

Distillery Information

Named for the nearby pool in the River Spey, Dalmunach is one of Scotlands newest and most contemporary distilleries. Built by owner Pernod Ricard (Chivas Brothers) in 2014, the large yet environmentally sympathetic building occupies the former site of the Imperial Distillery which was demolished in 2013.
