Producer Information

Des Vins dEnvie (Wines of Pleasure) is an estate located in Pontcharra, in the PDO Bugey region of Savoie. It is the result of a collaboration between Guillaume Lavie (Domaine Les Vins de Lavie) and Maxime Dancoine (Domaine de l’Aitonement). Guillaume Lavie, a former landscape gardener passionate about the vine. After obtaining his BTS Viti-Oeno and training in Burgundy and Beaujolais, in 2015 he bought 1.5 hectares of vines located at an altitude of 450 meters in the Belley sector. The cultivated grape varieties are indigenous to the region: Altesse, Mondeuse, Pinot Noir… The original vineyard, cultivated in organic farming, is now entirely managed in biodynamics and permaculture. The harvests are manual, the vinifications are natural without input and minimum protection.
