The White Wine Chara DOC Feudo Disisa an excellent Sicilian white wine born from Inzolia and Catarratto blend. A true Sicilian wine of the IGP Terre di Monreale which houses the production area all the characteristics of its fruity taste, among which we highlight the peach and broom.

• Falstaff: Lightest straw yellow. Ripe apricots, peach yoghurt, banana, pear on the nose. Balanced and fine on the palate, spreads slightly creamy, well-integrated acidity, long and clear in the final.

Producer Information

Feudo Disisa has an almost millennial story. The name Disisa in Arab means The Amazing, which suggests roots dating back to 1200, when Sicily was the Emirs land of conquest. After the abolition of feudalism, archpriest Nicol Di Lorenzo purchased the feud, and since then, the Di Lorenzo family – now in its fifth generation – has been guiding the company with passion, devotion and respect for local traditions, while balancing innovative and cutting edge choices. Azienda Agricola Disisa is located in Sicily, in the Monreale territory, Palermo province, at an altitude of 400-500 meters above the sea level, and it spreads over 400 hectares of vineyards and olive groves. Olives are harvested by hand between October and November, and, after careful selection, they are milled in the company oil press at controlled temperature. The star cultivars are certainly the Cerasuola, with which the company produces two monovarietal oils (one of which is a certified Organic oil), the Nocellara del Belice, and the Biancolilla. Using the herbs and citrus fruit cultivated in the company, Feudo Disisa decided to produce also other condiments, such as spicy and citrus flavoured products.
