On the nose there’s lemon and subtle meringue, toast, coffee and hazelnut notes. It’s racy on the palate, with delicate bubbles and a long, rich, mature finish.

Porte Noire was born out of a shared passion for wine between Frenchman and oenophile, David Farber and Renaissance man, Idris Elba, well known actor and musician who is best known for his roles in he Wire, Luther and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Davids wealth of knowledge and experience in the wine trade and Idriss verve and eye for whats next has enabled them to curate a delicious and unique collection of wines.
