More subtle flavors of toasted almonds, fig and pear integrate nicely with notes of brioche and bread pudding.

• Wine Enthusiast: This is not the best Dolce over the last five years, but having said that, it’s still a wonderful dessert wine. Rich in apricot, orange, pineapple tart, caramel and vanilla crme brle flavors, and with residual sugar of 10.4%, it seduces the palate with zesty sweetness. As delicious as it is, it just lacks that extra punch of intensity.

• Wine Spectator: Rich and vibrant, with sweet, succulent fig, apricot, melon and fresh tobacco flavors that are complex and concentrated. Full-blown without being weighty, ending with a long, persistent, detailed finish. Smillon and Sauvignon Blanc.

Land with a combination of gravel, volcanic ash, loam and clay which has been formed over thousands and thousands of years. At Dolce, we like to believe that whatever force was behind the formation of this land had these 20 acres at the southern end of the Napa Valley in mind for something truly special.
