Plus, steam engines are used during processing at the distillery, which is pretty rad! Aged for 23 years in ex-rum barrels between 1998 and 2022, a total release of just 155 bottles.

Nose: Very elegant and precise aromas.

Palate: On the palate it is very elegant, rich and full-bodied.

Distillery Information

In 1975, the Carrre distillery marketed its rum under the name Rhums MONTEBELLO and was equipped with new equipment. Today, at the head of the distillery, we find the fourth generation of MARSOLLE since January 2012. As a worthy heir to a lineage originating from Charente who settled in Guadeloupe as soon as the French arrived on the island, Grgory and his brother Dominique take the orders left by their Grandfather and their Father Alain and intends to maintain the tradition. The reputation of Rhum Montebello is well established, but the story continues.
